Ranjeeta Bisswall the founder and promoter of Bakes & Bites, found her calling in the food and bakery industry with sweets, chocolates, cookies, breads, snacks, namkeens, beverages and local juice products under her business entity keeping all the challenges involved in preparing and delivering the best in products.

An English Master graduate and MBA from Manipal University, she started the business in the Guwahati city after completing two month’s training program on Bakery Course under Advanced Entrepreneurship Development Program Under NSIC, Guwahati in year 2020. In the year 2001 she has completed the 1st bakery course for 6 months at the Famous Bakery located in Dibrugarh under INDUSCO which stands out her interest to join the bakery production as a business venture.

She takes responsibility as personalized quality baker catering to customers’ needs by attending and designing each order individually, whether it’s related to cake design, icing, deserts, cake table setup for their grand or small occasion or just giving in to their sweet tooth occasionally.

Enterpreneurial Journey

I have been baking for last 20 years and selling Birthday cakes, Celebration cakes or Wedding Cakes or food items ensuring that every order is freshly made for every individual customer. Thus, each and every product produced has an element of freshness, love as well as creativity, What began as an experimental bakery shop of 800 sq ft in Ganeshguri area has now evolved into a premium dessert and cake cafe and full-service restaurants adds Ranjeeta Bisswall Founder of “Bakes & Bites” located at Nayanpur area of Ganeshguri in the heart of Guwahati City.
Today, she delivers and serves over 40 varieties of bakery products such as cakes, cookies, chocolates, gluten free bread, desserts, artisanal bread; savoury items such as patty, stuffed buns, pizzas, and even curated gift hampers across Guwahati and other adjoin localities.
Some of the bestsellers at Bakes & Bites include truffle cake, fruit cakes, walnut brownie, the plum cake ,the stuffed buns, pizzas and other desserts.She also has the expertise in preparing various kinds of wines from different fruits like Bhim kol Bhoot Jolokia,Kothal and Bhoot Jolokia,Pineapple,Wild Apple,Orange,Rice Beer with a twist.

Ranjeeta Bisswall also founded “Jeena’s World” Since 2013 has developed a unique style of its own, reflecting the ancient traditions of weaving in a contemporary style to make them more appealing to the global consumer. The textile design firm concentrate on traditional garments as well as fusion wear for the trotting consumer keeping Home Furnishing & Apparel designs with quality standards.
The design firm is renowned for its distinctive use of colours, quality of fabrics, intricate embroideries and a gloriously rich Indian aesthetic clothes and dress materials of quality and striving for excellence and continuous growth with expansion in business growth with planning to employ even more people from the region and train them in the age-old traditional art of weaving, with Eri Silk products in Natural dyeing and Hand Block printings.
